Best XI of I-League 2011-12

      My Dream team for I-League 2011-12 will be consist on the performances of the last I-League only. I will go with the 4-4-2 formation. I will recruit Armando Colaso as a coach of my team, he is a cool customer, doesn’t have any kind of ego problem, always keep the balance between juniors & seniors in the team.

       1. Karnajeet Singh(Salgaocar) –Goalkeeper: Karanjeet Singh of Salgaocar would be in the goalkeeper position of my team, he is coolheaded & brave. He has a great timing also, in 1:1 situation he knows the exact time of challenging the opponent forward outside the box. He always hold his nerve, he also has an advantage of good height. With his golden hands he has given reliability to Salgaocar throughout this I-League.

    2. Kinghsuk Debnath(Mohun Bagan) – Stopper:  In stopper position I will go for Kingshuk Debnath of Mohun Bagan for his cool attitude & flexibility, he always keep his patience in control, never get scared of foreign strikers, he never goes parallel with the other defenders & never leaves any space to opponent players.

    3. Mahesh Gawli(Dempo) – Defender: I will give a place to Mahesh Gawli of Dempo for his renowned defending abiltity, he is the most experienced & senior defender of the country, he has a great match-reading power also.

   4. Sameer  Naik(Dempo) -  Defender: I will go for Sameer Naik of Dempo  just beside Mahesh Gawli for his cool attitude & solid defending ability, everybody knows how tough to overcome & score against this combination, since last 5 years Sameer Naik & Mahesh Gawli combination have given solidity to our Indian defence.

   5. Gouramangi Singh (Churchill Brothers)– Defender:  The fourth name in defence would be appear as a Gourmangi Singh of Churchill Brothers, basically he is an attacking defender, always run with the ball between defence & forwardline, covers a lot of ground in defence.

   6. Syed Rahim Nabi (Mohun Bagan) – Midfielder:  In midfield I will go for Syed Rahim Nabi of Mohun Bagan, currently he is the most versatile footballer of the country, can play in any position. He has a great speed & have the sense of controlling the midfield with others. He can lead from the front in midfield, he is a very good header & has a good scoring ability also.

   7. Paine Orji (East Bengal) – Midfielder:  Paine Orji of East Bengal will play in the center midfield position, he can operate the entire unit from the midfield, he can organize counter attacks from midfield, he can send clean forward throughs to the strikers also has a knack of scoring goals. Cab switch off & switch on the play any momemt.

     8. Lester Fernandez (Pune FC) –Midfielder:   I have to keep Lester Feranandez of Pune Fc in midfield position. He is a great midfielder full of promise & energy, he has the ability of blocking, snatching & sending through passes from midfield.

     9. Adil Khan (Sporting Club) – Midfield:  Adil Khan of Sporting club will be an automatic choice in the midfield,  he is the most promising midfielder of the country right now, basically this fellow plays a role of attacking midfielder, has a great ability of leading in the midfield, can keep the combination between forwardline & midfield very well, has the ability of scoring goals form long ranger sitters from outside the box.

   10. Ranti Martins (Dempo) – Forward:  I don’t think there would be any kind of doubt regarding the selection of Ranti Maritns in the forwardline. He is a good gamemaker, currently the top scorer of I-League this season, a nightmare for opponent defenders. He can score goals in any situation from anywhere outside the box.

  11. Odafe Okolie (Mohun Bagan) – Forward:  My final choice would be Odafe Okolie of Mohun Bagan in the forwardline. Currnetly he is the second highest scorer of this season in I-League. There is not a forward currently in India who knows the goal better than him. He is known for his bulldozing ability. He can score from anywhere of the ground with markers on his neck.

        There are few great & young talents also, its very difficult to drop them from best eleven.  But unfortunately I can’t give place more than eleven players in my dream squad. The players like Mananadeep Singh(Air India), Debabrata Das(Dempo), Sameer  Naik(Dempo), Joaquim Abranches (Dempo)- Midfielder,  Gilbert Oliveira (Salgaocar) – Midfielder, Francis Fernandes (Salgaocar) – Midfielder & Mehtab Hossain (East Bengal)- Midfielder  & CS Sabeeth(Pailan Arrows)- Midfielder  will get chance in any kind of best eleven. But regarding my formation I couldn't give place to those stars in my squad.
