There were two matches of UEFA
Champions League round of sixteen second leg lastnight.It was all about Messimania

German side Bayern Leverkusen were well hammered by the Spanish giant Barcelona

in a 10-2 aggregate. In an another match at GSP Stadium, Nicosia the Cyprus
side Apoel became through to the quarters
by defeating the French side Lyon in a tie-breaker shoot-out.

the mighty Barcelona. Apoel is the first team from Cyprus to qualify till the
quarter final stage of UEFA Champions league. In schedule time the hosts had
the 1-0 lead, but they also had a deficit of 1 goal according to the first leg,
it means overall the aggregate became 1 all, so the match went to the
tie-breaker following extra-time, where the hosts won the match 4-3 margin in
shoot-out.
Indian side will start their campaign
in AFC Challenge Cup 2012 against Tajikistan tomorrow at the Dashrath Stadium,
