Nightamare in AFC ended today for the Indian Team, East Bengal reached in the final of IFA Shield, Bayern Munich & Inter Milan have to overturn their

Nightmare of Indian team in AFC Challengers Cup 2012 is finally ended today following a 0-4 defeat against the best side of the tournament North Korea in Nepal. Lasttime AFC Champion Indian team finished their tournament three defeats out of three matches in group B. Regarding the past performance in this tournament everybody expected an allout fight from the Indian side today against the giant opponent North Korea but they never looked well committed to do anything better, as usual no co-ordination between defence, midfield & forwardline, result conceded 4 goals. Jon Kwang IK scores the first goal for Korea in 4th minute, Ri Kwang Hyok doubled the score in 34th minute, Pak Nam Chol makes it 3-0 in 58th minute & Ri Chol Myong makes it 4-0 in 70th minute. India couldn’t gain anything apart from the shame only form this tournament. Indian side have been suffering of converting goals throughout this tournament due to poor tactics of Indian Coach Savio Medeira & poor penetrative ability of Sunil Chhetri. Nobody knows how does a player like Sunil Chhetri who couldn’t convert a single sitter into goal, gets the captain’s armband of this country, it bared the vision of AIFF once again.

Kolkata giant East Bengal reached in the final of IFA Shield today by beating the Pailan Arrows in 1-0 margin at Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata, Tolgay Ozbey scored the solitary goal for East Bengal side in the 22nd minute of the game, the Kolkata giant reached in the final of IFA Shield after a long gap of nine years. In final in Sunday they will take on the winner of Prayag United & Botafogo.

Two big matches of UEFA Champions League round of sixteen second leg tonight. . In their homesoil at Allianz Arena in Munich the German giant Bayern Munich will take on the Swiss giant killer FC Basel while in another match the Italian giant Inter Milan will host against the French side Marseille at San Siro in Milan. Both the European giants Bayern Munich & Inter Milan have lost their away matches in the first leg against FC Basel & Marseille. Both the teams conceded the goals in the dying moments of the game. Now its their turn to overturn the deficit in front of their homecrowd & through towards the quarter final of the tournament. Bayern boss Jupp Henckes is very much confident to overturn the 0-1 deficit in homeground & reach towards the quarter, they won their last Bundesliga match at home by hammering Hoffenheim in a 7-1 margin. In the other hand the Italian giant haven’t won their last nine matches & there is a rumour that if Inter Milan couldn’t qualify for the quarter then they will sack their coach Claudio Ranieri.
