There are two big matches of UEFA Champions League round of sixteen second leg tonight.

There are two big matches of UEFA Champions League round of sixteen second leg tonight. In the first match of the return leg the British side Arsenal will take on the Italian giant AC Milan in their homeground  Emirates stadium in London, in another match the Portugese side Benfica will play their home match against the Russian side Zenit Saint Petersburg at Estádio do Sport  stadium in Lisbon
In the first match the Gunners have to do the daunting task ov overturning  the 4 goal deficit against the Italian giant for surviving in the tournament,  in the 57 years history of the UEFA competitions  only three teams have done before what Arsenal must do to avoid the elimination by following their poor 0-4 defeat to the Italian giant AC. Milan in their  first leg  at San Siro stadium in Milan. The Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is strongly expecting that they will make the impossible possible in their homeground,  heavily relying on the Dutch international Robin Van Persie, in a press meet Wenger told that “when you see the ball landing at the feet of Van Persie you know he can deliver a special goal”. But the problem for Wenger is that apart from the goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny Arsenal’s defence remains vulnerable. On the other hand the Milan boss Massimiliani Allegri, alerted his team against viewing the match as a formality, he brought the examples of  second leg of the quarterfinal  of 2004 against Deportivo La Coruna, where they had a decent lead in first leg of 4-1 & the final of the 2005 against Liverpool, where they were leading the match in a 3-0 margin in the first half.
In another match at Estádio do Sport  stadium in Lisbon the Portugese side Benfica  have to overturn their 2-3 deficit against the Russian champions  Zenit Saint Petersburg, the Benfica have never been on the loosing side against a Russian opponent on their home soil, it will give a boost to them.

In a group B match of AFC cup the Kolkata giant East Bengal lost to Al Orouba of  Yemen by a 0-1 margin today at the Salt Lake Stadium, Kolkata. Fatai Aloa scored the decider for the visitors by converting a spot kick in the 45th minute of the play.
